PostSubject: Apocolypse: a WW3 Story   Sun May 23, 2010 2:59 pm

If you know me, you know that I'm in the middle of several Fanfics (2 Resistance, 1 Pokemon.) Well, I might as well make a WW3 story inspired by the games Field Commander and MW2, as well as the movie Red Dawn called Apocolypse. I will be uploading levels to go with the story that I'll post here in chapters. I'll post the first chapter soon. For now I afraid we'll have to wait.

PostSubject: Re: Apocolypse: a WW3 Story   Mon Jun 07, 2010 7:45 pm

Okay, chapter one is here! cheers

Chapter One: Investigation
Point of view: Corpral Nicholas "Kid" Davidson, Specter Squad, US Army
Location: Russian forest, 10 miles north of Russian base
Time/Date: 05:44/12-12-12

I got off the helicopter wondering what my new CO was thinking. My first mission as a part of Specter Squad and it had to be in Russia. In winter. I'm reminded of Napoleon Bonaparte who made the same mistake and lost. Badly. I was going to give the captain a piece of my mind, but first I had to know where he was. My only hint was a small tent with a few soldiers standing outside warming themselves on a fire in a barrel. I walked in to find a soldier leaning back in his chair, feet up, and a newspaper draped over his face and "Joker & the Theif" was blaring as loud as possible. It worried me how easy it must've been to get transfered here. I picked up the newspaper, rolled it up and give him a hard "WHACK!" on his forehead with it. Crude? Maybe. Effective? Hell yeah.

"What the--?" He jumped with a start. "What was that for?"

"Sleeping on the job," I replied coldly, "Now would you mind telling me where to find Cpt. O'rilley?"

"Sure," he muttered, "follow me." I followed him as he walked around the tent and back in.

"Well?" I asked.

"Well what?" He said sitting back down.

"Where's the freaking captain?"

"You're looking at him." I felt my face go pale. "Captain Liam "Sixx" O'rilley, [A/N: I hope you don't mind Liam. I used you as a character.] at your service." He added smugly. "Now what do you want?"

"I want to know why we're here." I said working up the nerve after the embarassing incident.

"Why is any of us here? Are any of us here in the first place?" He said as if he was being philisophical. "Oh, Why are we in Russia?"

"In winter." I added bitterly.

"Well we got orders to check out an illegal SatComm Base after word got out Russia left the U.N. It's our job to check it out."

"How do we get inside?"

"We'll take this route through the forest and to their back door." He said pointing to a map...

Time/Date: 06:00/12-12-12

"Sixx" and I neared the enemy base, both of us armed with just a SR-25 sniper rifle and a PP-19 Bizon each. The latter, I'm told, he got from some contact in the Russian army. I thought it was smart because through my scope I saw some soldiers carrying them and if we were attacked, we'd need as mush ammo as possible. Another gun I saw plenty of were Russian A-91s, most of them with Grenade launchers attached. It's safe to say that if we ran into trouble, we'd be screwed. Of course, Sixx wasn't taking this seriously.

"This looks like it's gonna be a fun day, huh?" He said to me, taking another puff from his cigar.

"You know, that can kill you, right?" I told him in a hushed voice.

"What? Smoking?"

"Opening your mouth in enemy territory." I was already going to get in trouble for the newspaper incident, I might as well say that now.

"Well if we get in trouble, you can go in with a newspaper and beat them to death." He snickered and started walking south around the lake that separated the forest we were in and the base. "Now come on. We have untill 06:30 to get in position if we our distraction to work." Our "distraction" involved a second group attacking the north side of the base to make sure we had less soldiers to deal with while we, in Sixx's words, "went ninja on them."

We got in position just as we heard explosions from up north. We ran in, guns ablazin', and fought our way through half the base untill we got just outside the Satcomm building when we saw one of our attack helicopters pass overhead and get shot down by a Russian soldier with an RPG-7. When we got inside we took down the hostiles and proceded to the console.

"Look at this." Sixx said showing me to a message.

"What does it say?" I asked, "I don't know Russian."

"It's coded anyway, Sixx said, We'll decode it later."

"Now what?" I asked. He simply smirked.

"It's a good thing I brought these." He smiled pulling out some C4 charges. "Five minutes should do." We set the charges, and hopped in a Humvee waiting out side. As I looked behind us, I saw the enemy base go up in flames.

"There any others in our little group?" I asked. Sixx just chuckled.

"Wolf and Ace are in the Middle East right now," he said. You'll see them soon enough.

"Sir," The driver said, "Hostles up ahead."

God It's been awhile. If you want to know why, well, Ch2 is basicly a carchase through nothing. It took me days just to figure out how to word it, let alone type it. I should have it ready by next time I sign in. Just be patient.

It's been who knows how many months, but it's finally here. It probably doesn't matter any more because I think I lost all of my two fans. Maybe I should explain team name designations here:
Spectre Squad--Sierra Two CO: Sixx
Dog Squad--Delta One CO: Snowman (You'll see him soon)

Chapter Two: The Dealer
Point of view: Lieutenant Elizabeth "Wolf" Hawthorne, Specter Squad, US Army
Location: Abu Hajji, Middle East
Time/Date: 12:30/12-13-12

"...And you should have seen the looks on their faces! They saw us coming and they ran like hell!" Sixx said over the radio as I come to terms with my superior’s insanity. "The new kid had the funniest face of them all! He looked like he was gonna die!" He was, apparently, enjoying himself in Russia.

"You jumped over a freaking tank!" A new voice called out. I'm guessing that was the new kid. "I would've preferred a gunfight!" It's safe to say, I would've too if I were him.

"So what did you wish for anyway?" Sixx said, ignoring the pissed newbie and going off on a completely different topic. I hate when he does that.

"Is that code for something? I might have missed the memo."

"Twelve past noon, December 12, 2012. Did you wish for anything?" He isn't really serious, is he?

“Sadly, no."

"What would you have wished for?" A sane commanding officer? "Besides a sane commanding officer." You gotta be shitting me. "Language."

"Alright then, Oh Seer," I said sarcastically, "if you're so good at reading minds, what am I going to ask next?" It was a few seconds before he gave me the third stupidest answer I've ever gotten from him.

"Eight inches, uncircumcised." Oh god, I'm transferring to Dog. Snowman has GOT to be easier to handle.

"Your mission, sir." I was tempted to reach into the phone and smack him.

"Mission accomplished. We got to blow up a satellite and we've sent a message home to be decoded so now we're packing up to go home. See you there."

"Right, I'll ask when we get back to base. I'm still waiting for word on that arms dealer you sent me on a wild goose chase through five countries for. Sierra Two-Two, out" The man Sixx sent me to look for is called Hasim Al Kazii, AKA: ‘Gun Scar’. He is wanted for illegal arms dealing, murder, attempted murder... add the fact he's suspected to be the head of a new terrorist cell to the list and everyone who isn't working for him is going to be looking for him after that bomb threat in San Francisco five months back.

"Wolf," Ace said snapping me out of my trance, "Kazii was seen exiting his hotel and is Oscar Mike. We gotta follow."

"No shit, Sherlock," I replied, walking past him, "I think a Lieutenant like me would know that wouldn't you?" Ace was an excellent fighter and a better sniper. He saved my ass a few times, most recently in the Siege of Fallahj. I'm a little worried how he didn’t worry that much then, though.

Time/Date: 14:42/12-12-12

After two hours of driving around middle eastern slums, following Kazii run his errans, he started to turn back in the direction of his hotel. I was about to give up hope, until he past the hotel. Something was up. We followed him to an alleyway when he and three of his bodyguards walked out of his car wielding AK-103s.

“Command, Kazii and his men have exited his car armed and—” Was all I could let out before Kazii and his men opened fire on us. Ace and I grabbed our weapons, a SCAR-H for me and a FN P90 for him, and shot back and took out one of the gunmen before the others ran further into the alley. Ace was already on the run after them by the time they made to and through a door. I caught up with Ace as we too made our way through the door, into a warehouse, and after them. We faced heavy fire just as we entered the building, and were bogged down in the middle of it. Kazii ran up the stairs and out a door to the roof. We followed him as soon as we took out the opposition and saw him running across the rooftops with everyone and their grandma shooting like hell in our direction.

“Kazii… must’ve led us… to this part… of the slums… as a trap.” Ace panted as we too ran over the rooftops.

“I guess… I can’t… say that marathon… training was… crap anymore, huh?” I asked, remembering all the crap Sixx put us through. We followed him for a few more blocks until he was dumb enough to run himself into a corner. I took him out with a shot to his shoulder causing him to drop his weapon. Ace and I ran up and I kicked the gun away from him. “You’re coming with us.” I said. Kazii just chuckled.

“You think I’m in charge of that bombing in what you call a country?” He spat, “I’m just the guns. I don’t care what the money wants.”

“Who's the money?” I yelled. You insult my country, you insult me.

“You mean—” He was shot in the head by a sniper that Ace took down. There goes our lead.

“Sierra Two-Two to Command, our target won’t be talking any more. We’re coming home.” I said into my earpiece, defeated. Goddamn.
