Cobalt, do you mean the Crystal Cloak that tapers into being transparent? Such a cool effect, especially since you saw the backgrounds through it. Joseph's Cloak is pretty cool, I like being able to re-color the bat on demand.

I really can't say enough about it, it really is just an incredible game. Plus, Alucard is still probably the coolest Castlevania character.

Part of me really wants to get Final Fantasy 7, but I'm not sure I'm ready to risk ruining the nostalgia I hold for it, from childhood.

I'd kill to see Legend of Mana and Chrono Cross.

Oh, and for anyone who's bored, the Gnomish World Enlarger is a device from WoW that shrinks you and gives you the message "You made the WHOLE WORLD bigger!"
The Boots of Blinding speed give you a massive boost to your Speed stat allowing you to run much, much faster than normal. They also cast a Blind spell on you so you can't see a thing. Laughing

I keep checking the PSN for newer games and stuff but so far all I'm using it for is themes and things....I dont know why some of these other games that have been mentioned just don't interest me Puzzled

While I did infact enjoy the PSX era and all of its classics, my heart belongs to NES, SEGA and the SNES.

Just pop in my PS3 Dualshock to the computer and off to memory lane.
Emu's are a lifesaver.

Emulators are cold and lifeless. I had to give up my NES stuff last year, and unfortunately, the SNES stuff is going back to Vash soon. I love being able to have retro gaming stuff, I'll start rebuilding my collection once I'm in a better spot. Wish the parents didn't trash the VirtuaBoy.

More topical, what other classics would people like to see? I already mentioned Legend of Mana, that's pretty much what I'm pining for, at the moment. Still held captive by SotN, so many rare items to farm. One Ring of Faenor to go.
