Just thought I'd start a topic remembering the victims of this tragedy. Let's hope it never happens again. For those of you who haven't seen it, National Geographic has a week long list of shows only available this week, on those shows. Some intense stuff. Ecspecially the George Bush interview.

Definitely one of those "I'll never forget where I was when I heard" days.
I was on Bj Stovals lawn, in Prestwick actually. (thats rather a theme with us now)

It always amazes me, and makes me a little sad to think back and realize that in that one day this country dropped all differences. All the little lines we draw around ourselves we erased by our own hands in seconds, only for us to re draw them all in time.

But for a while we were all just "Americans". If there were anything good to be taken from that day, it was that.

God, I hope no one anywhere even thinks about doing anything on the 10th anniversary. A couple of historians on Nat. Geo. channel were agreeing that the 10 anniversary would be a "simbolic day to strike".

Matt I'm sorry to tell you that al-Qaida was planning on planting a bomb on a train track for the 10th anniversary, we found the plans during the Osama raid but idc because I'm expecting it to happen, al-Qaida would no doubt expect us to think that they won't do it and thus try to do it. I live in NY, very close to the city actually, and I have to be honest with all of you, what some people have turned 9/11 into absolutely sickens me, doesn't hurt that I was in school when it happened and my teacher told me, I was in 2nd grade at the time, did I honestly need to know, I was like 7 years old!

I was not working at the time. I had slept in. Woke up at 2pm and went downstairs as my roommate told me what had went down and then I watched it over and over again.

Nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. Whats done is done - what lies in the future is what matters - and how we all deal with it and look forward is what will matter.

RIP for those victims and their families.

Just out of curiosity, who has heard about the "We Will Remember 9/11" coloring book? I saw a news program about it at the airport today and I have to say that I am insulted by it, and some of its contents

I'm insulted that it got published, mostly because of its images and the idea of it being a coloring book, it even has a picture of a Navy SEAL shooting Osama.....I wouldn't want my kids seeing that....until they are like 14
