Wasn't quite sure where I should put this, but after searching the forum and deciding not to create a whole thread about it I settled for this topic.

I just started using Tapatalk for mobile forum use, and as of yet have not found the SixNation there. Does the forum use it at all? And if not is this something that we could possibly look into? If it costs money than obviously no, I just thought I'd ask a few questions about it.

I looked into it. Would be neat. But it's another one of those things we would need access to the database to do, which FM does not allow.

When people post in a thread do they automatically sign up for topic notifications?

I believe that they do. However you can turn them off in your profile or for a specific topic there is a "Stop watching this topic" link under the page numbers located under the last post.

I havent been able to find out why, but that was something that looked to revert itself for some reason. Several of us had found that even though we had turned notifications off, it set itself back to the default setting which is to have them on. Like Liam said, you can just turn them back off.

Im pretty sure it can be done 2 ways. Globally in your profile, and I think you can even set them individually in each topic.

I prefer to leave them on, makes me look popular in mah inbox.

Oh, so it wasn't just me then. I don't often check that email and then when I did I had a bunch of notifications in it. I don't want notifications so I was wondering if something got switched on the other end or if I had clicked it and not noticed a while back.

Mystery solved for me I guess.
