When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
They've been growing on me for years. I've been playing by myself for a long time now, but I really started liking games when more games started supporting online play. I think graphics played a role too as it's a lot of fun to look at something pretty all the time.
What is your favorite game? Why?
Oooo a tough question. I don't think I have a favourite, I've played quite a few good games. Half-Life 2 is definitely near the top though. Why? Uh... good characters in terms of animation and development, an interesting story and an easy game to play.
Do you prefer online or offline gaming?
Playing with friends – who wouldn't like that? It sort of depends on what mood I'm in.
What do you like the most about the Sixth Nation Site?
Why do I stay for any community? The people, of course.
If you could change or add anything here, what would it be?
It's a little dark in here... lighten up! Oh, and there is a lot of spam. =P

All have their advantages and aspects I like... the suburbs seem pretty nice though.

Final Fantasy VII. Not sure why, but it brings me back every time.

My step-grandfather's house caught on fire one night and I ran in (he was already outside) and pulled out his oxygen tanks. It wasn't that dangerous, but it's still probably the most dangerous thing I've done. I'm a homebody.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
When I was about 4, my twin brother had to go into hospital overnight for an ear operation, in the morning before school we'd always play sonic 2 on our sega mega drive. I played the first level on two player by myself, with both characters, it was the first night of our lives we ever spent apart.
What is your favorite game? Why?
It differs, right now I'm deep into final fantasy, it's like an alternate universe. And MW2 for ze violence. All time, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within for the PS2, I loved the puzzle solving, acrobatics and the dark theme.
Do you prefer online or offline gaming?
Online, it's definitely more fun because of the unpredictability of who you might meet, I've made a lot of great friends through gaming.
What do you like the most about the Sixth Nation Site?
That so many of my old friends are here, as well as the new ones I've found
If you could change or add anything here, what would it be?
I like it the way it is, maybe a lava lamp?

Ninjas, pirates have rum but ninja can sneak in and take it. Plus I found a ninja action figure at work yesterday. But Lesus can turn water into pure awesome

Country, where I live now is pretty good, one or two other spots come to mind

A specific person, or something I feel I could have done better during that day

Invisibility, coz well, you could appear naked at will, and play loads of fun pranks.

A few which aren't exactly family friendly, I'm pretty flexible I guess, that's ok to tell you guys right? I pour a mean pint of guinness, calls you names and seriously questions your life decisions.
What was the first concert you went to?
Oxegen 2007, beer, mud, camping, junk food, sleepless nights, around 100 bands and one of the best weekends of my life.

I'm not really sure on that one. Possibly a character that's a bit socially awkward, and not the best looking, but still deep down is a really nice guy. Perhaps if I find one I'll post it up in my thread.

Spring, there's this explosion of new life in rural areas like mine, plus my birthday in mid-April sweetens the deal

How to empathize with and really care for another human being on an emotional level, maybe it's that my community is very rural and has not really moved with the times, but I find it very hard to hold a really meaningful conversation with someone for fear of abuse, only a few people I really trust enough to open up to, most of them here.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
When I went to my cousins and played a racing game. I was so curious and it was really fun. I then asked my mum if we could get one. Eventually we did and I played spyro every afternoon once I did my homework of course. Dad then had Hitman 2: Silent assassin on his computer and asked me if I knew how to do the level. I jumped on and within 10 minutes I had finished it. I never got passed the level after that, so I just replayed that one level over and over. That soon expanded to him getting the ps2, and Xbox and more pc games. Call of duty was introduced to me around this time. Along with Medal of Honor. I loved those games. The game play always drew me in. I always walk away from a game smiling.
What is your favorite game? Why?
Recently Bioshock 1 & 2
the graphics are awesome, and the story so fun. Rapture is such an awesome environment. The concept of the Adam and Eve plus the Big Daddies and Little Sisters was always interesting and definitely cool to see what would happen. Plus you get to make your own choice on which paths your character takes in order to survive, and things like that really draw me in.
Do you prefer online or offline gaming?
Online is always fun. You get to play with people from everywhere, and work as a team or individual to get certain objectives fun. It expands the gameplay significantly, but ultimately the offline play is what I do most. And if I don’t like that, then I assume the online is just the same. So I always check out the offline first.
How did you find the Sixth Nation?
My brother, who is also a member, was on here for his first few days and I decided to check out what got him so excited. I was curious and it seemed like a friendly environment so I joined the 'family' as I call it.
What do you like the most about the Sixth Nation Site?
Everyone is so friendly, and we really do make it a community of people who can hang out and have some fun, or can get into interesting debates about many things. It’s never boring, there is always an array of things to do and see. Its defiantly one of the most welcoming and comfortable forums out there.
If you could change or add anything here, what would it be?
I wouldn't change a thing. I think its perfect how it is (:

Play guitar, read, write, bake cakes, paint, draw, photography, sew, hang with friends, and grab a coffee as I walk around town.

Skipped school and went to the park because I was bored. Then I decided to buy chips and go back to school, which I was caught and then had to somehow get out of a bad situation so I sweet talked my way out of a suspension… I actually still feel pretty bad about it :L

Deep brown. It changes with my moods. So it can go from really dark brown, to almost topaz.

In a way Dr. House from the T.V show House. Which is probably why he’s my favorite character?
What makes you angry? Do you get angry very quickly?
When people get defensive once I tell them the truth I tend to get angry. I can’t help it if I’m an honest person. I’d rather tell them the truth, even if it hurts, than to lie to their face and live with the guilt.
How quickly I get angry depends on the situation and what I'm accused of. But I try to calm down and fix the situation rather than rant and yell.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
First time we played mario kart with the gang, never laughed so much in all my life. Then the solo escapism of entering the fantasy world, like slipping into a costume you become the prince of persia or nina williams for a few hours.leaving reality behind even if it is just a few instants worth.

Sense of a unique community,
this home made it possible for us to escape the obligation to go to new site after the destruction of our beloved myres. I personally never liked the new site, the fact we had no choice in the matter angered me against it at the very start.

Usually try and empty my mind out, using deep relaxation & breathing, picture myself in a closed safe garden, water trickling from a fountain, everything green, lush, alive, scent of jasmine & orange flowers...Happy thoughts make sweet dreams.

Cheating, lies. I can go from happy to angry in under 6 seconds. It is very easy to let anger rule over other emotions for me, constant battle. I think what I makes me the most angry are lies & hypocrites, I prefer honesty that hurts to sugar coated truths which don't ever make things any better, to the contraire. People who smile to your face & then Hillary Clinton behind your back!

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
Back when I got my Playstation 1, I can remember saving my pocket money for half a year to buy Crash Bandicoot 2.
What is your favorite game? Why?
This is a very tough one, however I would have to say Burnout Paradise City. I absolutely loved the online lobby system to bits, I can remember spending whole nights with 8 friends just seeing how could get the fastest time on the bridge or the biggest flat spin so much fun while achieving so little. A few honourable mentions though would have to be MAG, Red Dead Redemption, Star Wars Battlefront, Crash Bandicoot series and the Spyro series.
Do you prefer online or offline gaming?
Online by a mile, I have about 5 single player games sitting here waiting to be finished. There is nothing I love more that playing an online game with a bunch of friends/clan mates and killing some noobs at the same time. I love the competitiveness the most about online, I am a very competitive person by nature and love to win and come first so online suits me perfectly.
What do you like the most about the Sixth Nation Site?
I like the ability to talk and speculate about new games and it's a great place to find out the latest info about gaming.
If you could change or add anything here, what would it be?
I would add more people to make the forums a tad more active then it would be perfect. Oh and add a drool emoticon I would use that often

Interestingly worded question but it would depend on the situation. But I would have to say I would rather take a pirate home to my parents, sure they may not be the cleanest bunch but ninjas are so ugly they don't even show their faces.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
I first realized in 2007ish? When we first set up our PS3 online and I started playing R:FoM. That day I drove to Best Buy and bought a mic just so I could talk to people. Which is funny because ever since I was a young'un, if I started playing a game.. I had to complete it. Only if it was a good game

Super Mario World for the SNES. First game I beat on my own and the only game I've been able to play from the beginning thousands of times and still love it as much as I used to

Not really a talent but I have the ability to completely put my mind off the bad stuff that happens and be more optimistic. At my grandmothers funeral back in November I didn't shed a single tear. Even while grandpa was breaking my hand he was grabbing it so hard during the service. I realized she was in pain and it was for the best. No more misery
Name one thing not many people know about you.
Another one I had to think about. Recently, I was put on anti-depressants and anxiety meds and blah blah blah because my mother has suddenly popped back in my life after not trying to contact me in 12 or so years she thinks she deserves to know me. And it's been a huge interior battle that I really should have started speaking to people about. Because, I resent and hate my mother like you wouldn't believe. BUT, a part of me feels I need her approval. It still is hitting me hard and it's actually almost caused my life to fall apart. But, on May 3rd I will be meeting her at lunch with my brother and a friend with me. I am hoping it just gives me some closure rather than hurting me more. I will tell you guys about it on my little blog thing after it happens. Oh and then I think I will finally deserve my next tattoo afterwords. Which I will also explain as it comes up.

In my career, choice one of my jobs is to educate the public on animal issues. My main goal is to stop pregnant women from surrendering their cats because they think they will get toxoplasmosis. The doctors involved are not teaching the women the truth. I have CDC pamphlets I put out at work on the counter, and they have helped a lot.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
I think that I first realized gaming was one of my favorite hobbies back when I had my NES when I was around 8 years old. I loved playing it, so I guess that's how I got started off.
What is your favorite game? Why?
My favorite game ever made has to be The Legend of Dragoon on PS1. Besides Pokemon, it was my first true RPG and got me into the genre. The story was amazing, the characters were all memorable, the combat system was really great (not your traditional turn based RPG combat) and I just absolutely loved everything about the game. I highly recommend it to anyone who can get a copy.
Do you prefer online or offline gaming?
Depends on the type of game though. I really do enjoy playing games online with everybody, but playing FPS games really aren't my strong point. I'm sure anyone who's played MW 2 with me can tell you that.
What do you like the most about the Sixth Nation Site?
What I like most about the Sixth Nation site being able to to the "Topics Being Watched" section so I can keep track of threads I've posted in. It's quite handy.

I'm not sure if I'd add or change anything, everything seems to work pretty well if you ask me.

I live in the suburbs now, and I can't say it's really that bad. It's actually quite nice here. Someday though I can imagine myself being a desert rat living somewhere in a small town down in Arizona. Preferably in a nice little bungalow or something about 3 mins from the center of town with a nice view of the desert.

Too many things, usually I try and listen to some relaxing music before bed.

Probably something like Spider Sense, that way I could have Ninja like awareness

One thing I'd like to change about myself is self confidence and self esteem, I don't have much of it now, so I really think I'd be better off feeling better about myself.

Well I'm not sure, I'm the type that tries (and fails at) lots of different things. I guess I could say Kung Fu, because I did it for 3 years but had to put that on hold for financial reasons. I got really high up there, by the time I stopped I was 3 belts away from black belt.

I like to sit around and draw while listening to music. I'd love to be able to do Chinese Brush Painting, I think that's what I'm going to pick up as my next hobby.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
First, when I borrowed a friend's Sinclair ZX-80 computer and typed in the code for a moon lander game. But the bug really caught when my next door neighbour got an Atari 2600 console for his birthday.
What is your favorite game? Why?
It tends to be whatever I'm playing at the moment (MW2). But if I had to pick one or two overall, I think it would be (1) Elite and (2) Day of the Tentacle. Elite was a 3D wireframe space trading and combat game for the BBC Model B microcomputer. It was way ahead of its time, huge, and utterly addictive. Day of the Tentacle was one of many graphic adventure games I played on the PC in the 1990s, but this one stuck out for its sheer wackiness and humour.
Do you prefer online or offline gaming?
I like them both equally. I love to get my teeth into a good campaign mode, but I also like the fact that you can get 10-minute adrenaline shots with online modes.
What do you like the most about the Sixth Nation Site?
The people. I love the fact that so far we have managed to avoid attracting the hormonal fan boys.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
Quite late, to be honest. I knew I enjoyed computers and programming, as I spent long hours trying to make stupid useless programs in basic. The MSX I had back then came with some tapes (yeah... I said "tapes") that took ages to load and have some cool games. I played some of these games when I was about 14-15 and I did enjoy them, although they did not really keep me glued to the computer. I had to wait until my Windows 95, when I had Warcraft I, Hexen and Sonic the Hedgehog, to be really interested in games and actually spend some hours a week playing. After that came Doom, more Warcraft, Diablo and Soldier of Fortune. I have been gaming since. I moved from PC to PS3 only a few years ago.
What is your favorite game? Why?
I cannot decide... but it has to be between Warcraft, Diablo and Dragon Age. Because I like creating cities, crafting some mad armor and go into an alternative world. I like when I start walking down the street and I feel as if I was still in some game, when a park is a magic elfic forest, a building is the secret meeting point for the rebels and that guy in the street with a suit is a spy from a secret organization. I spend my tram journeys figuring out things like these. Entertaining.
How did you find the Sixth Nation?
We were talking about creating a site, you said a clan site, I said a community site, we decided both. Lol I didn't manage to be the first to register, but I think I was the 4th or 5th.
What do you like the most about the Sixth Nation Site?
Being able to know what everybody else is doing, and talk about my day as if I was in the pub with you guys
If you could change or add anything here, what would it be?
A less PS3-oreientated-only feeling. I think it is a shame people who are playing Xbox, Wii, DS or PC do not post and give reviews about those games
You can bring three items with you to be stranded on an island for a year. What are they, and why?
For a year... mmmm... A solar battery charger, a laptop full of ebooks (including survival guide), a good swiss knife

Good question. I still do not know in which country I want to live, less the whereabouts. I have always preferred to live in cities because I like everything close. Now I live just ouseide the city, an area which is connected with direct tram to the city center, which feels just right because it means no noise plus great area. I think I will go again for that.
What do you usually think about right before falling asleep?
Normally I would think about the day and I would try to analyze what happened, what did I do or say, and plan my next day. If I cannot sleep and I have already done all that, then I do series of things in my head with the letter of the alphabet until I fall sleep. I need to learn to be less direct and also be more flexible. I have the freaking habit of saying what I think even if it is not my business. That is always a problem when you are at work. I also would like to be more constant, more responsible, less dogmatic, more punctual, less temperamental, less lazy, more forgiving, to trust people more and be more positive about humankind in general.

Honesty. I am too lazy to lie, you need to remember loads of details and people always find out, one way or another, even if they do not tell you that they have found out. The truth is not only less complicated, but people usually handle an unconfortable truth better than a compasive lie.

I love writing stories. I don't think I have ever posted any in English.

I won some awards and published one short story in a printed book about a year ago. Only problem is that I haven't written anything since.

Having a nice dinner with my future two-three kids and my happy husband. I will be teaching some hours and spending the rest of my time with my family and going for walks with the dog, which we still don't have but we already know that it will be a staffordshire terrier called Che. I will have a nice family house in a nice sunny country (maybe Oz) and we will all go together on holidays. This site will have like 15000 users, and minimum people online will be 100.
When you have an hour of free time, (besides gaming) what do you like to do?
checking the forum and my email. If you mean "without a computer", then having a nap, listening to music, watch TV, pamper myself and have long baths.

Idk. Running away from home with a 50 € note and travel 15h to meet in person my new two online gothic friends. Or maybe selling all my stuff years later and moving to UK after dating my bf for 10 days while on holidays. Have others, but can't really post them.

1.64 or so (5.4 - 5.5 feet). It has been like 10 years since last time I measured myself.

I think they are blue, but some people say they are green. Sometimes look a bit grey. I don't know, I guess it depends on the light.

lies make me angry. I can accept any truth, but not lies. It takes a while to make me angry, and I don't scream, yell or even argue. I just go into my shell of silence and absolute block-out, which might be worse.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
When my brother got a Commodore 64 and the tapes would eventually load up. Something about Bubble bobble just hooked me.
What is your favorite game? Why?
Its hard to pick any one game. Right now the favourite for playing is Modern Warfare online with the clan. Offline at the moment would be God of War 3. Something running around as a bald man in a skirt and destroying the gods that attracts me.

But again a favorite game overall is a hard one for me as I love them all. From Stealth to RPGs, Sand box to FPS, Sports to Racing, Fighting to Hack and Slash, it doesn't matter to me, if I can play it I love it.
How did you find the Sixth Nation?
Known Six a while, from our mutual fear of a female gamer, Darkestfind, to clan mates, to disturbing and making each other hot for one another with the vast distance between us the only thing to keep us apart. Also I seen it on an old site that we both used to use.

The people. A site can have so many cool features and add ons, but it is the people who make it what it is

I don't really keep anything hidden, I can learn stuff really quickly and pretty much a jack of all trades. I like to help people out a lot even if I know nothing about it I'll still help people by learning about it then letting em know by translating what they need to do. Oh and I can pretty much read body language and tones very well. And when someone is talking to me, a lot of the time a good few words are misunderstood so I have to pretty much find the missing words using the general context of the discussion and recreate the sentence in my head in the space of time to respond in which I do not appear slow. This doesn't always work and leads to much laughter when I mistake the missing words.

Not sure what there is that people don't know, I'm pretty much an open book. I guess that I suffer from depression would be something I don't really talk about.

When did you first realize video games were one of your more favorite hobbies?
I got hooked early. I first started viewing and playing arcade games before I was in Kindergarten. Double Dragon was my very first video game I ever heard or laid eyes on at my local corner store:) My cousin had to lift me off the ground and hold me up to play. I was too short to see over the controllers!
What is your favorite game? Why?
Being a long timer - I have too many to narrow down. If I could leave it to a series I would go with Mega Man(original & X), Final Fantasy, Zelda, Castlevania, GTA among many others.
How did you find the Sixth Nation?
It found me. I actually met many people through my love of the Resistance series at the official Resistance community. I met people through the save a Newb Program and I just got to know more people and I got voluntold to come.
What do you like the most about the Sixth Nation Site?
That its console neutral. It connects people with the forum clearly and easily. It tells me who's using the forum right now as well as the latest topics being posted in. It also has lots of areas for information that can be useful!
If you could change or add anything here, what would it be?
Considering that we're gamers just looking to discuss gaming or hook up with other people to play online with, I think we do a great job at providing that. We could always look to add more content but that leaves the question, what would we add since we don't have a specific focus. Could be an opportunity for some of our members to contribute if they have something to add.

Half City, Half Suburbs. I grew up in a Suburb of Vancouver. Best home town evar! I currently live much closer to downtown and its also awesome. So I would say if you can get half way out of the suburbs but halfway out of right downtown in the city, thats a win!

It varies between, what I need to get done tomorrow, what I want for myself, the future, what I don't have but really really want, being alone. Depends on my mood and whats going on in my life at that time.

Just ONE!? Urgh..... Either the ability to fly OR to control lightning. That would be badass!

Common Sense. While Book sense is very valuable, it can only be in regards to certain subjects or topics. Common Sense can be applied at some level to almost everything. Unfortunately for many, you learn that common sense isn't always common.
